Welcome to Unity Church of Hilton Head Island: A loving, joy-filled spiritual community made up of people who embrace the spiritual essence in every person. We respect the universal truths in all religions and each individual’s right to choose a spiritual path. At Unity, you’ll find a spiritual community to join and support you on your journey.

Unity Church of Hilton Head belongs to the Association of Unity Churches which “sees God as good and everywhere present and affirms the spark of Divinity in all of us.” We believe that we can co-create heaven on Earth through our words, thoughts and actions.

Please join us on Sunday for our service or attend one of our classes. You'll find a spiritual family who embraces community spirit, prayer and meditation, sacred service, spiritual education and joyful living.




It is our great joy to let you know that Dr. Julia (Rev. Julia Johnson) is our new minister. 

Following her Sunday service with us on January 22, and overwhelmingly positive feedback from the congregation, the Board offered her the position, and she accepted.   Dr. Julia’s first service will be Sunday, March 18th.  In the meantime, she is back in San Diego, letting her current congregation know that she is joining us, saying goodbye to them, and preparing for her move.
If you had a chance to be with Dr. Julia at her workshop or service, you know how blessed we are to have her joining us.  She is truly heart centered, with so much love to give as well as wonderful skills in growing a church, both spiritually and in numbers.   If you haven’t met her yet, you are in for a delight (and you might want to pick up a copy of her service dated Jan 22).  Best of all, she is as excited as we are about moving forward together.

Thanks to all of you in the congregation who have been so supportive and welcoming to all our candidates as we have gone through this search process.  The Search Committee and Board may have been out front, but it is your consciousness which has brought Dr. Julia to us.  Thank you!
